About EDACCO

ABOUT EDACCO

Built for challenges that cross boundaries.

EDACCO — Ecological Development and Collaborative Chain Organization — is a Belgian non-profit organisation focused on collaborative approaches to sustainability, environmental intelligence, innovation and international cooperation.

OUR PURPOSE

Why we exist

Complex environmental challenges are rarely limited by a lack of information. More often, knowledge, authority, technology and implementation capacity are distributed across different organisations. EDACCO exists to help connect those pieces around a shared problem.
MISSION

Our mission

To improve the way organisations collaborate on sustainability challenges by connecting credible expertise, relevant institutions, responsible technology and pathways for implementation.
PRINCIPLES

What we believe

Progress depends on evidence, but evidence alone is not enough. It also requires people who can interpret it, institutions that can act on it, technology that fits the context and collaboration designed around a clear outcome.
01

Evidence before noise

Distinguish between what is known, assumed and still needs to be tested.

02

Collaboration with purpose

Every convening should have a clear question, a useful mix of perspectives and an intended next step.

03

Technology in context

Digital tools and AI should serve a defined decision or operational need.

04

Transparency by design

Roles, contributions, claims and potential conflicts should be clear.

OUR MODEL

A neutral collaboration layer

EDACCO does not need to be the technical owner of every solution. Its role can be to structure the problem, create a credible collaboration environment and connect the organisations capable of contributing expertise, technology, finance, research or implementation.
