Terms of Use

LEGAL

Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to and use of EDACCO’s public website, digital resources, project information, network interfaces and protected areas.

1. SCOPE

Who these Terms apply to

These Terms apply to visitors, applicants, members, experts, partners and other users of the EDACCO website. Specific services, events, platforms or protected workspaces may apply additional conditions.
2. OPERATOR

EDACCO

The website is operated by Ecological Development and Collaborative Chain Organization (EDACCO), ASBL/VZW, enterprise number BE 0774.312.101, registered office at Zwaluwenlaan 21, 1950 Kraainem, Belgium.
3. INFORMATION

No automatic professional advice or funding entitlement

Website content is general institutional and informational material unless a separate written engagement states otherwise. Information on funding calls, projects or programmes does not create eligibility, selection rights, funding entitlement or a guarantee of success.
4. INSTITUTIONAL REFERENCES

No implied affiliation or endorsement

References to the European Commission, European Union programmes, United Nations entities, Sustainable Development Goals, Global Gateway, Team Europe or UN Cooperation Frameworks are descriptive. They do not imply endorsement, mandate, agency, representation or formal partnership unless expressly documented.
Important: EDACCO is an independent Belgian non-profit organisation. It is not an institution, agency or body of the European Union or the United Nations.
5. CONNECTED PLATFORMS

Globeline, myEPA and external services

EDACCO may connect users to Globeline for secretariat and technical-assistance workflows and to myEPA for European project and funding intelligence. Separate platform terms and privacy notices may apply.
6. ACCOUNTS

Protected resources

Users must protect access credentials and limit account use to authorised persons. EDACCO may restrict access where necessary for security, misuse prevention, confidentiality, legal compliance or termination of the underlying relationship.
7. SUBMISSIONS

User content and files

Users must have the right to submit any documents, profiles, project information, intellectual property or personal data uploaded to EDACCO systems. Submissions must not be unlawful, infringing, malicious or knowingly inaccurate.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

EDACCO and third-party rights

EDACCO names, original content, publications, methodologies and visual systems remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party institutional names, logos and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
9. AI & AUTOMATION

Automated recommendations

AI-generated summaries, classifications or funding recommendations may contain omissions or errors. Material facts must be verified against authoritative source documents before legal, financial, eligibility, budget or submission decisions are made.
10. PARTICIPATION

Events, networks and projects

Registration, network participation, an expert profile, event attendance or project discussion does not itself create partnership, procurement, employment, grant award or consortium rights.
11. LIABILITY

Reasonable limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, EDACCO is not liable for decisions taken solely on unverified website content, third-party content, external links or automated recommendations. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. LAW

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law, subject to mandatory rules applicable to a particular user. Unless mandatory jurisdiction rules provide otherwise, disputes fall under courts competent for EDACCO’s registered office.
